Now introducing, The Groundbreakers Spotlight: New Ground’s newest project, The Grove

We are proud to celebrate the completion of New Ground’s first-ever affordable housing development.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and the dedication of partners across the Long Island community, The Grove in Patchogue was completed in the Summer of 2025. This development includes 17 much-needed units of permanent supportive housing, expanding our Long Term Housing Program and providing more struggling Long Islanders the opportunity to achieve stability and independence. The Grove marks a historic step forward in New Ground’s mission to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty for generations to come.

Previously, New Ground had honored a singular individual as the annual Groundbreakers Honoree. However, in an effort to congratulate all our partners and celebrate the new housing we are able to provide for our clients, we dedicate this year’s Groundbreakers Gala to not one individual, but a whole collective.
