New Ground was lucky to host a special visitor in our office; Carmela Villani! A former member of the staff since New Ground’s start in 1991, Carmela played an integral role in the organization’s success. After a long career in education, Carmela decided to take on a new adventure and responded to an ad placed in the Long Island Catholic newspaper. She interviewed with founder, Sister Mairead Barrett…and the rest is history! We cannot thank Carmela enough for her dedication to New Ground, and her continued support of our mission today.
