Following the donation of various new and gently used kitchen items, New Ground helped outfit a new home for one of our JumpStart Program families who recently moved into their own market rent apartment. Utilizing a majority of the family’s savings to pay the first month’s rent and security deposit left very little for purchasing household necessities. New Ground’s help in providing these items went a long way to making their new apartment into a home.
